Who we are
BayanX is a job-seeker services business based in Saudi Arabia. We offer CV rewriting, LinkedIn optimization, curated job matching and related career services. This policy explains what we do with the personal data you share with us.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the information you give us: your name, email, phone number, city, current and target role, industry, years of experience, languages, salary expectations, timeline, target companies and any notes you provide. We also collect any documents you upload — typically your CV and optionally a cover letter or work sample.
We collect basic technical information automatically (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and to keep the site working well.
How we use it
We use your data only to deliver the services you've ordered: preparing your CV and LinkedIn rewrite, matching you to suitable openings, and contacting you about your order. We use the technical information to operate and improve the website and to detect abuse.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with recruiters or employers without your explicit instruction.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate (hosting, email delivery, payment processing). They process your data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service. The current list will be detailed in the next version of this policy.
Where we store it
Your data is currently stored on secure third-party infrastructure located in Germany, operated by Supabase Inc. By placing an order, you explicitly consent to this cross-border transfer for the purpose of delivering your order. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing contact@bayanxcareers.com. We will be migrating to KSA-hosted storage as our client base grows; this transition will be reflected in a future version of this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your order details and documents for up to 12 months after your order is delivered so we can support you if you come back for an update. After that, we delete your CV and other documents. Anonymized order data may be retained longer for service improvement.
You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing contact@bayanxcareers.com.
Your rights
You can ask us to: show you what data we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete your data, or withdraw your consent to processing. Withdrawing consent will end the services we can provide but does not affect anything we've already delivered.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) if you believe we've mishandled your data.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies to function. We do not run advertising trackers. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to measure traffic. If we add analytics, it will be listed in the next version of this policy.
Children
BayanX services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to clients with active orders.
